Student's Football

Every school pupil dreams of enrolling in a tertiary institution so they can academically perform and get a proper job. Fundamentally top athletes are developed from university sports due to world infrastructure, support, discipline and goal orientated...so as far as football is possible its no different. USSA Football is responsible for the planning. University Sports South Africa (USSA) has a number of National University Sports Associations (NUSAs) recognised by the Council of University Sport South Africa (USSA) and Football is one of these NUSA’s.

USSA Football is responsible for the planning, organisation, administration and promotion of Football at the Institutions of Higher Learning. The primary function of USSA Football is to organise Annual Student Football tournaments for all member Institutions during which national student teams are selected to represent South Africa and USSA at various national and International championship events (World Student Games) which are held every 2 years. As USSA Football we are responsible for organising development programmes for all students, staff in conjunction with, South African Football Association (SAFA) with (coaching, refereeing). As USSA Football we are associate members of SAFA and we get assisted in developing Football coaches, referees at University, and to date there are 35 member associates.

Annually after each provinces respective league and playoff are done, they have National championships (both Men's and Women) which are played during December, we'll give you the latest in university news, log, fixtures and results of all activities in campus football.Rules and regulations
