South African Schools Football Association ( SASFA)
Boys and girls generally have to start schooling at the age of 7 years old and by the time they reach 18 years old they should be matriculating, developing young talent at school level is vital for them to not only academically excel but represent their scholl in football competitions possibility be scouted to play professional locally/international like,e.g Thabang Lebese, Chris Flandorf, Khulekani Madondo, Mandla Masango ect.
The South African Schools Football Assicaition is a non profit organanistion registered with the The South African Schools Football Association (SAFA) , previously known as USSASA FOOTBALL. SASFA is a member of the SA Football Association as well as an affiliate of the Confederation of School Sports Associations of Southern Africa COSSASA. It organises tornaments and U14 league annually for a mere 3000 schools in the country when there are over 30 000 schools in the country due to lack of financial support and outreach.
A calendar of tournaments (below) will be covered everytime there is a tournament taking place, we going to be looking at news, log standings, fixtures and results, matches, teams, qualifiers and previous tournaments.
